Ushabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, standing on a base, the back resting on a pillar. Arms crossed on the chest, hands indistinctly marked; hoes in both hands. On the head is a long, smooth, three-part wig; ears uncovered. Face small and round with slightly blurred details; long, straight beard adhering to the neck. Painted inscription placed on the front of the figurine's legs between engraved vertical lines; text illegible. 332–30 BC, Ptolemaic period. Find location: El-Kantara. Shabti; height 16.3 cm., A small rectangular stone object with a rough, pitted surface in pale beige and light green tones is centered against a plain gray background, with a ring-like band of similar pale beige extending behind it; there are a few small dark specks on the stone and a vertical streak of red on one edge.
