Ushabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, standing on a base with the back resting on a pillar. Arms crossed on the chest with hoes in both hands; hands indistinctly marked. Wearing a long, smooth, three-part wig with ears uncovered. Small, round face with slightly blurred details and a long, straight beard adhering to the neck. Painted inscription on the front of the figurine's legs between engraved vertical lines text illegible. Mummy-shaped figurine used as grave goods; shabti. Ptolemaic period, 332–30 BC; findspot El-Kantara. Height 16.3 cm., A small elongated statue resembling a wrapped figure with a rounded head and a narrow rectangular base, showing a worn surface texture with areas of roughness and flaking; the form tapers from broader shoulders to a slimmer lower body and stands upright against a plain background. The visible colors include shades of green, pale green, beige, tan, and hints of gray, with some lighter patches and darker weathered areas. The head appears smoother and slightly domed, with a small protrusion at the front of the face area and subtle incised features; the torso and lower body show uneven, pitted surfaces and layered material where the finish has eroded. The overall silhouette is symmetrical, and the object casts a faint shadow on the background.
