Fragment of a shabti. Head of a shabti figurine with rather carelessly rendered facial features, in a smooth wig and a thin beard. Celadon glaze. 332–30 BC; Ptolemaic Period. Found at El-Kantara. Shabti, height 2.6 cm. Provenance: grave goods; wigs., A sculpted head fragment shown in profile with a smooth face surface that is predominantly greenish-blue mottled with darker speckles and patches, while the rear and top of the head are a rough, chalky white with textured, flaking areas; the background is a uniform medium gray.
