Amulet of Hapi. Relief figurine of Hapi — one of the Sons of Horus. Hapi shown in right profile with a mummy-like body and a baboon's head covered with a wig, holding a folded cloth in front of him. Smooth back with two holes for attaching the figurine. Part of a set of four Sons of Horus. Date: 664–30 BC Late Period–Ptolemaic Period, Egypt. Amulet; height 4.6 cm, width 1.4 cm., A small vertical figurine of a standing anthropoid figure with a stylized head and mane-like detail, rendered in a weathered bluish-green faience with areas of brownish discoloration and pale grayish spots; the figure stands on a rectangular base, with a draped element along one side and rounded limb forms, and surface pitting and worn edges visible across the object.
