Fragment of a shabti. Fragmentary head of a shabti figurine with indistinct facial features, in a smooth wig. Celadon glaze. Ptolemaic Period, 332–30 BC. Found at El-Kantara. Shabti; height 2.3 cm., A worn pale beige object with patches of light blue and hints of pink that resembles a rounded head with a few small holes where facial features are, a subtle protruding nose shape and an indistinct mouth area, a few rough textured spots and small pits across the surface, and a darker beige irregular base at the bottom, set against a uniform gray background.
