Transport amphora, Slightly sloping shoulders. High, narrow neck narrowing at the top and ending in a spout. Thick, ribbon-shaped handles divided by a groove. In the center — a recess pressed with a finger in wet clay. 1st half of the 4th century BC, Thasos. Vessel transport amphora. Height 66 cm; diameter 23 cm., A large clay vessel with a tapered, conical body and a rounded base sits against a plain background; the vessel has a narrow neck that widens slightly at the rim and two curved handles extending from the rim down to the shoulder, and its surface shows an earthy, terracotta color with mottled patches of darker and lighter brown and subtle textural variations.
