Skyphos, 1st quarter of the 6th century BC, Etruria; vessel; height 9.3 cm, width 9.5 cm., A matte black ceramic vessel with a flared rim and a rounded body narrowing to a small foot, showing a group of surface scuffs and small chips and a visible seam or repair line running vertically, with a few lighter speckles and worn areas; the vessel has a pair of short horizontal handles extending from opposite sides near the rim and sits against a light gray background, with visible shades of black, dark gray, light gray, and small hints of white where the surface is worn.
