Knuckle-shaped fibula, unknown Roman workshop. Fibula with a flat underside, rounded at the top, rising from a horizontal semicircle upwards, bent at an acute angle and terminating in a semicircle with a button in the center. Below the arch, on one side, there is a long spiral from which a pin emerges; on the other, a high stem at the end is bent into a sheath. Material: bronze. Condition: good. Date: 2nd half of the 2nd–1st half of the 3rd century CE, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Type: fibula. Dimensions: height 2.6 cm, width 3.7 cm., A small metallic object with a rough, irregular surface floats against a solid pale gray background; the object has a bulbous rounded end and a flatter, jagged section with layered ridges and a curved protrusion, displaying a mix of bronze, dark brown, and black tones with subtle highlights.
