Hand cross, Ethiopian workshop. Diamond-shaped arms, wide grip almost same width as the arms, merging into a poorly defined plaque in the shape of an elongated rectangle topped with a trefoil inset. Bilateral decoration almost identical on sides A and B, limited to simple incisions at the edges of the cross arms and horizontal zigzag stripes and a double X on the plaque. 16th–20th century. Ethiopia. Cross; height 28 cm, width 5 cm., A long narrow wooden object with a weathered brown surface, carved with a pointed ornament at the top and a decorated rectangular section near the bottom; the top and bottom ends feature symmetrical carved shapes and the wood shows worn texture and darker brown variations against a pale gray background.
