Lid can be opened with the help of key that is inserted into the keyhole, placed centrally on the lid and over which round keyhole protector can be slid. On the inside lid rectangular removable openwork and engraved cover plate with two square similar images next to each other. On each stand four interwoven mythical creatures ( kind of cross between dolphin and dragon) with above them winged man with goatee and mustache and turned cross on his clothes (the outpouring of the holy spirit?) Central to the cover plate is an excellent octagonal occupancy coach Underneath is composite lock with eight shots: four at the front two at the corners and one at each side. They look like double shots but line is engraved in the shots. When the key is turning, the shots from below the cover plate slide under the protruding top edge which is on the inside of the box. The lid can be opened diagonally by means of kind of movable support that is attached to the inside and has twisted decoration. The inside is painted black and in the left corner there is an extra storage compartment with closed lid. The lid is attached to the box with two doors. fake hammock can be shifted so that the keyhole of the extra storage compartment is visible and is actually keyhole protector Whole is on the outside polychrome painted with flowers human figures and birds on dark ground.
