S. Mancel, Table clock with 7 inch dial and richly engraved back plate with S MANCEL ROTTERDAM in medallion, clock clock timepiece measuring instrument wood oak turtle brass steel, Clock: platine clockwork with going work with railing and fixed pendulum with pendulum clock and saw beat on bell The mechanism and the bells for quarter quilting have been removed. The back plate is engraved with acanthus motifs and knight figure in the center. The signature is in cartouche at the bottom. The matted center of the dial has two wind holes window for the pendulum clicker and date window. The silvered figure ring with Roman numerals for the hours Arabic numbers for the (5) minutes and signs for the half-quarters. There are minute and hour dashes between two concentric circles. There is cross-shaped mark between the hour digits. The signature is engraved on the underside of the digit ring. Four corner pieces with an angel's head (cherub spandrels). In the middle of the numeral ring there is lever with the indication N S (Do not strike Slaan) MANCEL on the number ring and S MANCEL ROTTERDAM on the back plate of Rotterdam middle class
