Painted wrought iron Nuremberg coffin, archive case casket cabinet furniture furniture interior design iron paint, approximately 130 kg Iron box with outside band iron attached with rivets; two large handles on both sides turned halfway; two transfer bars at the front which can be pushed over the protruding staples but which are now hanging down (the padlocks that normally hang on them are missing here). Whole is polychrome on the outside with flowers on green surface. Rear painted completely dark. At the front fake key plate of driven iron for decoration including an engraved head Cover is (normally) openable with the help of key (probably 44057) which is inserted into keyhole placed centrally on lid and over which keyhole protector could be pushed (missing present). The keyhole is slightly deformed (due to wear?). On the inside lid rectangular removable openwork and engraved cover plate with two square similar images next to each other. On each stand interwoven mermaids (and men?) And dolphins Central to the cover plate is an excellent eight-sided occupancy box. Underneath is composite lock with eleven shots: four at the front four at the corners one at the rear and each one at both sides. When the key is turning, the shots from below the cover plate slide under the protruding top edge which is on the inside of the box. The lid can be opened diagonally by means of two movable supports of different lengths which are attached to the inside and have twisted decoration. The inside is painted red-brown (presumably not the original color) and in the left corner is an extra storage compartment with closed lid. The lid is attached to the box with two doors. rectangular keyhole protector can be moved to reveal the keyhole of the extra storage compartment. Key 35514. fits in this keyhole and with it the simple support bolt lock placed under the lid of the extra compartment can be operated save money save theft prevention hang-and-seal
