Paterson, New Jersey - Textiles. Jackson Winding and Warping Company. Picture of a Sipp-Eastwood DY type of High Speed Warper. This machine is similar to the one above except that the warp is wound on to the old type of creel. After the warp is made up it is beamed. On this type of machine it takes from 2-1/4 to 2-1/2 hours to make the usual type of warp. This estimate of time may vary slightly one way or the other, depending upon the number of sections, length of the warp, etc, June 1937, Lewis Hine, 1874 - 1940, was an American photographer, who used his camera as a tool for social reform.
