1961, historical, cars of the era parked underneath the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, with two men standing in the open area under the giant metal structure, built for the 1889 Paris Exposition. Originally intended to be temporary structure, the wrought iron tower was due to be demolished in 1909, but was saved from destruction, due to its use as a radiotelegraph station. It is now one of the world's most iconic landmarks.
