Aug 06, 1962 - Los Angeles, CA, USA - Cloaked corpse of MARILYN MONROE is being put into a hearse, a day after her suicide. Marilyn Monroe was found nude, dead in the bedroom of her Brentwood, California home clutching her telephone by her live-in housekeeper Mrs. Eunice Murray on August 5, 1962. She was 36 years old. However her death was ruled as an overdose of sleeping pills by Los Angeles County Coroner, many believe it was rather murder. The most endlessly talked-about and mythologized figure in Hollywood history, Marilyn Monroe remains the ultimate superstar, her rise and fall the stuff that both dreams and nightmares are made of.
