Caption on the back of the photo reads : ''Part of the tremedous crowd which swarmed the doors of the Million Dollar Theater in Los Angeles on the morning of the opening of Rudolph Valentino's new United Artists picture, ''Son of the Sheik''. Fifteen hundred people were in a block long line at noon when this picture was taken.'' Rudolph Valentino's last film. He died on August 23rd 1926 less than 2 months after the film was released.
