Jan 01, 1934 - Nuremberg, GERMANY - Controversial film-maker LENI RIEFENSTAHL (center, in a white dress) pictured during shooting the Nazi propaganda film Triumph of the Will, a documentary glorifying Hitler and widely regarded as one of the most effective pieces of propaganda ever produced. She became a favourite of German dictator Adolf Hitler in the 1930s, making films for his fascist regime. Riefenstahl is renowned in film history for developing new aesthetics in film, especially in relation to nude bodies.
