Salvador Allende, Chilean politician and president of Chile, during a press conference at the Chilean Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He attended the Héctor J. Cámpora inauguration as President of Argentina on May 1973. A few months later, on September 1973, he would commit suicide in his office during General Augusto Pinochet Ugarte´s takeover.
