Légende

The striking post modern architecture of the Pompidou Centre, the National Museum of Modern Art, illuminated at night. The innovative High Tec steel superstructure designed by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers has exited visitors since the opening in 1971. It is a popular tourist destination as much for the architecture of the building and the events that take place in the surrounding courtyards as for the modern art contained inside the museum and library. It is situated in the Bauebourg area of Paris, near Les Halles, and is surrounded by little cafes, restaurants bars and shops.
