K1F6JM This 1976 photograph depicts a multiracial group of women and children in a housing project lining up at a mobile clinic waiting for, and receiving vaccinations. The scene also contains a doctor, who was administering the injections, and a seated nurse, registering the children through parental participation. For a color version of this image, see PHIL 17503. This scenario had been located in a hypothetical Dixon Tiller County, U.S.A. and was used as a teaching aid regarding the prevention of vaccine-preventable diseases.
