The mule-room and ring-frame motors: the high-tension chamber at the Brunswick Mill, Ancoats, 1909. 'On each of the five spinning-floors are four pairs of mules and ten ring-frames. The position of these in the various flats renders it necessary that not more than two pairs of mutes shall be driven from one motor. Each of the spinning-mule motors is rated at 75-b.h.p.' Notice reads: Danger - High Tension Station - 6500 Volts - None but Authorized Persons to Enter Here. Premises of Henry Bannerman and Sons, cotton spinners and manufacturers.
