Published in 1687 by Abbot Julien Pichon. Pichon was one of the "interpreters of the Dauphin" or "critics of the Dauphin" appointed by Montausier, Bossuet and Huet to present works by secular classical authors to Louis, Dauphin of France (1661-1711), son of Louis XIV and heir to the throne.
