The 'International Exhibition of Chinese Art' was held at the Royal Academy of Arts, Piccadilly, London, from November 1935-March 1936. Cheng Tien-hsi (1884-1970) was a Chinese author, jurist, and the last ambassador of the Republic of China to the United Kingdom. F. St. G. Spendlove (1897-1962), Assistant Secretary of the Royal Academy, was a Canadian curator of fine arts.
