Banquet of courtesans and soldiers, 1630. Elegant company in an interior. Men and women sit around a table laden with cakes and various dishes; a young man plays a lute with six frets and an angled pegbox. On the wall behind hangs a painting that appears to depict Andromeda being freed by Perseus. The soldier on the right holds a wineglass as he warms himself in front of the fire.
