Archduke Leopold, brother-in-law of Philip III, c1608-c1617. Leopold V (1586-1632), Archduke of Austria, was the son of Archduke Charles of Austria-Styria. Created Bishop of Passau and Argentina, he resigned his ecclesiastical office in 1625, becoming Lanzgrave of Alsace. He married Claudia de' Medici, daughter of the Grand Duke of Tuscany, with whom he had four children. He is dressed in a "doublet with gold buttons and his chain, black breeches with crimson lining, a black bohemian coat lined in scarlet velvet, with gold buttons, a gilded sword, one hand on his waist and in the other his decorated cap, and its architecture with its columns."
