Landscape with Skaters, 1615-1625. Daily life in a village on a cold winter day. Under a leaden sky, the villagers go about their daily tasks or play and skate on the frozen canal. As in all the landscapes painted by Momper between 1615 and 1625, the figures that bring it to life are by his friend Jan Brueghel the Elder.
