Peter I with Minerva (with the Allegorical Figure of Glory. Painting, made in 1732, of Tsar Peter the Great (1672-1725) with the Roman goddess Minerva, by Jacopo Amigoni, in the Small Throne Room of the Winter Palace, St Petersburg, Russia. The Small Throne Room, also known as the Peter the Great Memorial Hall, was created for Tsar Nicholas I in 1833, by the architect Auguste de Montferrand.
