Ceremony of the nuptial blessing in the Royal Chapel of Infanta María de la Paz of Spain, (María de la Paz de Borbón), (1862-1946), 1883. Infanta of Spain, Princess of Bavaria by her marriage, on 2 April 1883, to her first cousin, Prince Ludwig Ferdinand of Bavaria, (1859-1949). Wedding celebrated at the Royal Palace of Madrid. In the presbytery, the kings, Alfonso XII (godfather) and Maria Christina (godmother). From "La Ilustración Española y Americana" (The Spanish and American Illustration), 15 April 1883.
