First Carlist War, (1833-1840): Attack of Agurdin, 6 January 1834, (1842). The Carlists were positioned at the top of Agurdin, over the port of Gorbea. They faced a column of the Liberal army led by the commander Joaquín Vara de Rey, which defeated them.
