The Abbot of Saint-Denis, kneeling before the Bishop of Paris, takes an oath reaffirming that his cause, defended by Raimbaut, is just, 15th century, (1877). As the clerics were not allowed to fight, Raimbaut de Moreuil defended the cause of the Abbot of Saint-Denis in single combat with Guyon de Losenne. After a 15th-century miniature.
