Four portraits, 1898. 'Dr. J. K. [John Kells] Ingram; Vice-Provost of Trinity College, Dublin, author of the ballad "Who Fears to Speak of '98?"; Stepney's new M.P. Mr. W. C. [William Charles] Steadman, secretary to the Bargebuilders' Union, member of the London County Council; the late Sir George Lawson, Assistant-Under-Secretary of State for War, Private Secretary to General Peel and Sir John Pakington during their respective tenures of office as Secretary of State for War, Assistant-Director of Supplies and Transport, sent to South Africa to deal with the war expenses of the Zulu Campaign, Deputy Accountant-General and Director of Army Contracts, Assistant Under-Secretary for War; An Indian Veteran, Colonel Danvers Henry Osborn, engaged in the suppression of the Sepoy revolt, 34th Regiment of Native Infantry, Major of Brigade at Lahore, served in the Bengal Police'.
