Advertisement for Carr's Woven Ladder Tapes, 1895. '"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." But the REAL THING what we all prefer. Caution is needed And judgment as well; Read this hint carefully Rightly to tell Stamped tapes from those which are made but to sell. It is a fact that very few persons can distinguish between the real and the imitation, so that cheap and inferior qualities of Ladder Tape are often bought as the BEST. The only safeguard, is to insist upon seeing the name "CARR'S," winch is stamped on one of the interwoven cross-straps once in every yard of CARR'S PATENT LADDER TAPES'. For Venetian blinds. From "Illustrated London News", 1895.
