Légende
Northern Adventure, 1929. The composition is the second version of a view from the artist's flat in London which overlooked St. Pancras Station. The strange displacement of the window in the top corner was a device used by the Surrealists and recalls the work of the Italian artist, Giorgio de Chirico.
