The Queen's visit to the Tudor Exhibition, 1890. Queen Victoria, accompanied by Princess Beatrice, visits a show of 16th-century objects and paintings at the New Gallery in London. 'Her Majesty the Queen, as Patron of the Exhibition, has contributed a fine series of Holbein's pictures and drawings from the collection in Windsor Castle, and of portraits by Antonio More, Zucchero, and other contemporary painters'.
