Jack Bain worked for the Bank of Australasia and worked in many branches over his career from the 1920s to his retirement in 1966. These photographs are taken from the Wintergarden Theatre (70 East Street, Ipswich). Some 50 years after its opening (1925) the Wintergarden Theatre was demolished in 1979.
