Grimes - in 1904. W.D. Grimes senior arrived in Brisbane with his family [father William] on the Chaseley in May 1849 and was born in Ashby-de-la-Zouth, Leicester England. The store was demolished c1970 and replace by the Pavilion shopping centre. In the foreround is The Australian Hotel (1869-1963) - the building is still there, minus its verandahs.
