Advertisement for the International Fur Store, 1883. 'FURS FREE BY POST OR RAIL TO ANY PART OF THE UNITED KINGDOM. "At the International Fur Store, Regent-street, W., may now be seen a most complete assortment of the latest styles in Sealskin Jackets and Dolmans...all Skins are here shown in the rough, and may be separately selected by an intending purchaser before being made up after the style of any approved patterns. Seal Capes for Young Ladies are finished with a novel fringe of fur balls...Dolmans of plain velvet are likely to be much worn, and these have broad borders of skunk or opossum. Here, indeed, is a veritable 'store house' of furs and their appurtenances, where may be found trimmings of all kinds, from costly sable tails to the more moderate-priced sets of bear or beaver, skunk, racoon, mink, or musquash, and, in addition, carriage rugs and travelling wraps of every description (notably an almost unique one of red and black ' cross ' fox), overcoats, driving gloves, hats, raps, and foot warmers." - The Queen Newspaper. CHEAP SEALSKIN JACKETS. Well Cut Serviceable Sealskin Jackets at £10, £12, and £15 each'. From "Illustrated London News", 1883.
