Commemorative medallion, 1916, (1920-1930). Designed by Jan Raszka. Obverse shows a row of marching soldiers (right side profiles); above them is the crowned Polish eagle in flight. Between two concentric circles is an inscription in capital letters: "Legionstom Slazakom Poleglym Za Ojczyzne" (To the Silesian Legionnaires who died for their homeland). The reverse shows a group of four modernized ancient warriors (the relief surface has been given slightly cubist features). At the bottom is the inscription: "MCMXIV-MCMXVI" (1914-1916).
