It was fitting, also, that some chief representatives of other departments of Art - Mr. Sims Reeves, Mr. Santley, and Madame Antoinette Sterling, for Music, and Mr. Alma Tadema for Painting - should take a conspicuous part in the proceedings...Professor Tyndall [spoke] in the name of Science'.
