The Royal Marriage at Berlin: Prinkenau, near Sagan, Silesia, the late residence of Princess Victoria of Schleswig-Holstein-Augustenburg, 1881. View of '...the chateau of Prinkenau, near the town of Sagan, where Princess Victoria of Schleswig-Holstein has been living, and from which abode she comes to Berlin for her wedding. It is the family mansion of her brother, Duke Ernst Gunther of Schleswig-Holstein-Augustenburg, head of the elder branch of this princely house'. Primkenau Castle was demolished after the Second World War. From "Illustrated London News", 1881.
