Mutiny of Aranjuez (17-19 March 1808): break-in at the Prince of Peace's house, (1851). On the morning of 19 March 1808, a small group led by members of the Fernandino party (noble people close to the Prince of Asturias) broke into Godoy's house in Barquillo Street, in Madrid, looting, burning and destroying all kinds of belongings. They broke the mirrors and made a bonfire with the furniture. From "Historia del Levantamiento, guerra y revolución de España" (History of the Spanish Uprising, War and Revolution) by the Conde de Toreno, Madrid, 1851.
