Shipwreck of the "Eurydice" near the Isle of Wight, March 24, 1878, (1878). HMS Eurydice was a sail-training vessel built in 1843 for the British Royal Navy. She was caught in a heavy snow storm off the Dunnose headland and sank. Only two of the ship's 319 crew and trainees survived. From "La Ilustración Española y Americana", 1878.
