Saint Apostles, Our Lady of Sorrows. Right Wing of the Altar Retable from Stary Zywiec, c1400. Additional Info: The right panel of the retable in All Saints Church in Stary Zywiec features six carved figurines of the Apostles on the obverses, the preserved individual attributes make it possible to identify St Simon (saw), John the Evangelist and James the Less (fuller's club). On the reverse, there is a painted, Baroque (or perhaps copied in Baroque), the depiction of Our Lady of Sorrows, with breast pierced with a sword as the sign of suffering.
