Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber - I polish 'em off, c1880. A customer falling through the trapdoor. Sweeney Todd's barber shop was a death trap for unwary customers in need of a shave. With the cry "Down you go!", his barber's chair would swing into the floor - sending his victims crashing down to the cellar below. His partner in crime, Mrs Lovett, then turned their bodies into meat pies. Scene from 'Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street', possibly by Charlton Lea.
