A bagpiper, c1300-c1340. His cheek is puffed out with the effort of playing the instrument. The bagpipes have been decorated with a crowned head, and with a small banner that has a lion rampant on it. From the Luttrell Psalter, which was written for Sir Geoffrey Luttrell.
