The one in the foreground, at the bottom of the page Engraving, is the ox that won the championship cup, bred and sent by Mr. James Bult...This magnificent roan ox, four years and two months old, had a girth of 9 ft. 8 in. and a weight of 24 cwt...The beautiful creature in the middle of the page is the winner of the £40 cup, as the best female in all the classes, and of the £100 champion plate as the best animal of all the cattle, a heifer named Lady Flora, three years and two months old, owned by Mr. John Walter, M.P...She was bred by Mr. Henry Micklem...She weighed 18 cwt., or 3 ½ cwt. more than the first-prize Devon ox, which was one year older...The third animal of the ox kind represented in our Artist's drawings is the first-prize young Devon steer, one aged two years and two weeks, belonging to her Ma...
