Flask, 1st century A.D. Additional Info: Free-blown mosaic ribbon flask of an amber colored gather, partially inflated, the surface then trailed over with a cane of clear glass, itself encircling an opaque white cane.The cane surface was vertically combed to form a wave pattern. Inflation of the gather followed and the toe was given a ball-shaped foot. The rim was enlarged and finished after the piece was released from the blowpipe.
