Showing leisure occupation described by Eleanor Pray in a letter dated January 21, 1898: "Mr. Clarkson came last evening to play billiards and they played till around half past ten. It is very nice to have the billiard table, for now if gentlemen drop in to spend the evening, we can bundle them off up to the billiard-room and Sarah and I can read or sew, or do what we like."
