House of Radja Batipo, demolished and burned to his punishment and chastisement as he being head and captain of the rebellion in the Padang upper lands in the year 1841, (1841). The house and three palm trees, two people on the right at the house. According to the caption, this is said to be the home of the Sultan of Batipo (Batipuh). In 1841, this Sultan led a rebellion against Dutch authority in the Padang Panjang district on the west coast of Sumatra.
