'The Prince was in field-marshal's uniform, with a white helmet and plume...The standard-bearer walks a few paces before his Royal Highness...His train was carried by Messrs. Grimston and Walshe, naval cadets...attired in the costume of pages at the Court of Charles II...cavalier hats and cloaks, tunics, trunk hose, and rosetted shoes, all of blue satin.
